Let that S*^T GO!

Life’s under no obligation to give us what we expect.                    Margaret Mitchell

If I could name one emotional well-being superpower, it would be mastery of ‘letting it go’. When others’ behavior or unchangeable circumstances gnaw at us, we imprison ourselves. By quickly accepting and releasing what we cannot control, we alleviate so much suffering and unlock human potential. It is an act of self-compassion. Learn to LET. IT. GO.

PS: this is not an invitation to ignore problems or take a passive role in our own lives, rather it’s to maximize our personal power.
PSS: I’ve been at this awhile and making steady improvements. Practice works!

One of the optional things we do in Costa Rica during Wellness Week is ride horses through an old forest and end on the beach at sunset.  These beautiful animals seem to intuit human feelings.

Reduce your Risk: Take Omega 3s

To combat the nations # 1 disease

Rhonda Patrick is my favorite cell biologist nerd who takes hard science  and makes it easy to understand.  Highly recommend her YouTube /podcast, Found my Fitness.

I make a mix of hemp, flax, pumpkin, sunflower and chia seeds to add to yogurt.  Followed by a chaser of 2 Omega 3s.

This should be a daily mantra. Some days the struggle is real, but letting go is necessary for survival.

YOU said it AMY! I have to keep re-learning this over and over! Hope you and Greg are having a great (LAST) summer (for him!)

This comes at the perfect time and so true! Reminds me of my favorite holiday song “Let it Go, Let it Go, Let it Go.” Have you read David R Hawkins, MD, “Letting Go – The Pathway of Surrender?” Letting Go is a practice, but well worth the effort in helping to delete all the untrue but stressful thoughts in our mind – kinda like the spam in our mental inbox.
